Mackay Region Flood Appeal

On the morning of Friday 15th February 2008, the Mackay area received a deluge of rain over several hours.  Some areas received up to 600mm in less than a day.

 This rare event has caused widespread distruption and damage to the Mackay area and has inflicted hardship on many residents of the region.

 To assist the people of the Mackay region in this time of need, the Anglican Diocese of North Queensland is opening a Mackay Flood Appeal with the help of Bush Church Aid (Australia).
